Established in 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes started as a family company in the Northern Italy's largest industrial place. Throughout the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into a manufacturing and industrial economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in constructing bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, a wide range of presses, forklifts, prefabrication molds and farming machines.
During the year 1963, the company started crane production. The business eventually invested all of their human resources and financial resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the area of lifting.
