Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic lift trucks offer versatility and height. These models are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is referred to as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the individual utilizing it to maintain a high degree of control while lifting the cargo to great heights. Regular forklifts could not move the cargo towards and away from the cab of the forklift, whereas a telescopic forklift could allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is normally used in both agriculture and construction. It is better for applications where greater control and lift is necessary.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are better in situations needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that allow the operator to use uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It comes with a backrest that protects the loads from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is utilized for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This kind of system is useful for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A man basket is a lift platform designed specifically to hoist personnel. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a strap or chain that is to be secured directly to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the personnel from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the worker's safety harness.
